Health Learning Partnership is an organisation set up to provide high-quality, learner-centred and primary care-focused education for primary care clinicians, in response to identified learning needs.
We aim to foster good practice in teaching and learning and to provide educational opportunities in a range of settings and formats, in order that these should be as accessible as possible to the GP and wider healthcare professional community.
Jo is a full time educationalist and has worked in GP education since 2003.
Tim is a GP and has worked in GP education for 4 years.
Jo and Tim plan and put together the content of the courses throughout the scheme year, using feedback to inform the choice of topics and educators. Through evaluating course feedback, they work to continue to improve the quality of the HLP education programme.
Mandy has worked with Avon LMC for 15 years, and has worked specifically in GP education for 6 years. Mandy is the first point of contact for any queries regarding HLP membership, online booking of courses and any other queries regarding scheme administration.
Ali has worked in GP education for 6 years. She is present at the education events to host the days, and looks after the operations side of HLP.
